New Year, New Goals

Tomorrow is the New Year and I've been thinking hard about what my New Year's resolution(s) will be. The past semester at uni was a tough one for me. With getting back into the flow of American uni and multiple demanding courses, many things in my life were pushed to the back seat. When deliberating about what my resolution would be I found many things weren't necessarily resolutions. They were simply things that I want to move back to an important place in my life with a less challenging semester on the horizon. In the end I found three things that I want to accomplish this year. 1. Take more pictures! I realized towards the end of this year that I barely took any pictures. Part of this has to do with the fact that I took SO MANY pictures in Japan. Now that I am back I simply am not doing as many fascinating things each week. However, I would like to try to bring my camera with me no matter where I am in case I find something that is worth documenting. 2. Stay o

Yokohama Kakkeijima Sea Paradise

Yesterday I went with some friends to the Yokohama aquarium Sea Paradise. The weather was a bit chilly and gray, so it was the perfect day to hang out inside with friends! We all had a lot of fun exploring and looking at all the cool animals. I was especially glad that I got to see Maddie again, since her stay in Japan is going to be over in a few short months! The aquarium is right by the ocean so there was a pretty view! This adorable seal was just sitting at the bottom of the tank and watching everyone who came by I've decided that anemone are super cool and if I could be a sea creature I would want to be that Fun in the gift shop! Thanks everyone for making it a really fun trip! This post ended up a little short, but I am finding it hard to get motivation to do anything. 2014 Fitness Goals

So I realize that it is almost the end of January and I am just finding a New Year's resolution (more just a life resolution). It's not my fault that finals started and I was finding it hard even to shower before leaving my dorm. Anyhow, I decided that this year, instead of simply talking about my fitness goals, I am going to write them down. I am absolutely that person who has high hopes for themselves, and after a week or two of intense exercising and healthy eating I am back on the couch eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's in one sitting. So I decided that this year I would put my goals up on the interwebs and maybe the fact that my friends, family, and random strangers are reading this would actually motivate me to keep up with the goals. My goals for myself aren't that strict.
